Thanks to our retail destination marketing expertise, we were called upon by Stirling’s busy, vibrant shopping centre to cover a 12-month maternity leave. The centre needed an agency with shopping centre experience who could get stuck right in.

The challenge

There was an instant need to hit the ground running with managing summer campaigns, Halloween events and the upcoming crucial Christmas period. With retailer relationships to maintain, media plans to roll out and agencies to manage, the centre needed an experienced pair of hands to roll out the solid strategy that was in place.

We were engaged to step in as seamlessly as possible, ensuring the strategy was delivered and results were achieved. We slotted right into the Thistles team to take over the management and delivery of the full marketing plan. We managed suppliers, budget, marketing activity and relationships with retailers as if we were an in-house member of the team.

The results

From the get-go everything ran smoothly and to budget. Summer event visitors even exceeded previous year’s attendance by over 20%.
