Motion graphics design – Hangloose Adventure Bluewater
Hangloose Adventure Bluewater is an outdoor activity centre at Bluewater Shopping Centre in Kent. The company also have a site in Cornwall at the Eden Project, rated as one of the top 10% of the world’s attractions by TripAdvisor.
The challenge
At the time of working with the Hangloose team, their new quarry site was still under construction. We were asked to work on some motion graphics to convey just how thrilling England’s newest and fastest (at the time!) zip wire was going to be.
The solution
We used photography of the quarry mixed with images of staff members enjoying the Eden Project zip wire to illustrate the experience that would soon land at Bluewater. Although there were limited assets available, the resulting motion graphics worked hand in hand with the wider launch activity to introduce Hangloose Adventure Bluewater to a new audience of thrill-seekers.
The results
The motion graphics we created were used in pre-launch digital activity at key periods during November and December to increase sales of Christmas gift vouchers. Both still and animated graphics were pushed out across web and social platforms, bolstered by targeted eCRM campaigns with carefully crafted copy to appeal to Hangloose’s audience.
